Just need to get this off my chest:
I don’t feel bad about going to multiple Manics gigs when others failed to get tickets. I feel bad that you didn’t get tickets, really honestly I do, but I don’t feel bad that I did and you didn’t. I’m not apologising for feeling like that either. I saved up…
Exactly how I feel. I’ve seen fans complaining that if those who managed to get tickets really felt sorry for them they’d be giving them tickets, otherwise they’re just gloating. What sort of shit is that?
Because THAT’S who they should be aiming their vitriol at isn’t it, fellow fans instead of touts?
I’m going to all three London dates and I feel so angry that touts have once again fucked up so many people’s chance of seeing this tour, but I’m not feeling guilty that I’m going.
Totally agree with you!
James sang This Is Yesterday as a special encore at the BBC 6Music Maida Vale gig.
This Is Yesterday acoustic.
Interesting stuff on fandoms.
While I am a hardcore fangirl, I do try and moderate my behaviour, honest!
And I love autographs. More than photos, I always look like half my face is melting, or as in one memorable experience: he was in focus, I was blurred because I was quivering with shock/joy/terror/cold.
Didcot power station being demolished. The cooling towers dominated the skyline in Didcot since 1970, it’s going to be odd not seeing them going past on the train.
